Through Helen’s unique form of body work and exercises, combining expressive therapy and movement Shiatsu, you will learn to inhabit your own body and integrate this direct experience into your life.
Using the creative and social potential of the beautiful croft walk and bringing other local artists and practitioners in as required, this space and time helps to release untapped creative potential.
Through taking small steps we become aware of our bodies and minds, and our interactions with others, moving towards a more positive and healthy state by creating new patterns for ourselves.
Steps on the Croft active retreats offers you the space to take these steps in the beautiful, serene environment of the croft walk, the armadilla and the renovated traditional Black House.
For each active retreat we invite a guest artist to lead sessions on e.g. arts, crafts and all kinds of making, music, poetry, dance and writing and there is always the time for you to have a Shiatsu massage/reiki session with Helen.
